If you are planning to register your own trademark in Taiwan, see the below table to see under which class your trademarks falls.

There are 45 classes of trademarks in Taiwan, which follows the Nice Agreement. The Nice Classification of Goods and Services is an agreement resulting from the Diplomatic Conference of 1957 in Nice, France, and is updated every five years. It is an authoritative classification of goods and services for use in registering trademarks and service marks. It is currently in use by 148 countries.

The first 34 classes of the Nice Classification cover goods, and the last 35 to 45 are for services.

Carefully consider under which class your trademark will fall. I highly suggest you take a look a the World Intellectual Property Organisation’s website for detailed descriptions of all the classes and sub-classes of trademarks.
