The answer to this question varies depending on which industry are you in. In some industries, going out to drink and party with your suppliers and customers has been a common part of the business relationship.
In some cases your local partners might also decide to take you out to hostess bars.
Having heard and experienced some unpleasant social gatherings in China, Korea and Japan, I feel I have been lucky that in Enspyre’s industry we have never felt pressured to take our customers out for these types of binges.
